Thank you for this video… I was stuck on how to replace the demo
    slider… Cheers!

yah, imho, still too fast, I would slow it down to less than 1/2 speed of
what it is now, some of us have to squint to see the correct button to
push. :) could you throw up a link to the music band? great music!

  3. STEELFISH SLOEPEN

please put a slowdowner to this video way to fast way to unclear

Voice over would have been VERY useful.

It’s a very interesting way to teach a technical skill like this. As an
instructional designer and author, I’d find this more effective if you
preceded the fast-paced video with a brief explanation of the principle
that sliders are created from images, not from posts or pages. You have to
create the post or page, then go to the image library and create a slider
from the image you wish to associate with the post. This is not clearly
explained. Nice sound track though. :)

    1200×500 i think

  7. Owen Watson

Far too fast! You may be able to work at that pace, but think of ordinary
    mortals. . .

  8. Alessandro Marino

    Thank you so much :-)

Is this theme only good with 1200x500px sliders? I’ve tried some bigger
ones just because 1200×500 is quite low res. but it all shrinks in a funny
    way.

  10. Brett Drake

    nice music

  11. Christine Gessner

“Thanks” for being so fast!! That’s really great for those who have no idea
and are doing this for the first time :-o

  12. Bryan Daly

    Way to fast

Nice ad – very nice – but is there an actual instructional video somewhere?
Some clues about sizing the pics would be a big help.

Appearance – Customise – Front Page – Slider Options – Not default, you
    wont see no changes

  15. Jason Lusk

Hi Brad, well I’m sorry but I found this video not really useful or helpful
at all. I have Frisco software, and the Revolutions slider. It’s supposed
to have everything needed but when I reach the Edit Slides it just comes up
saying I have no slides on file. So I guess I have to create slides? Is
that it? So I have to get more plugins (and frankly I’ve found installing
plugins a huge headache, often b/c my FTP doesn’t always seem to work. Or
do I get a plugin in a different way than through my FTP? You see? You make
one statement and it leads to 3 or 4 questions, with every statement you
make. Granted I’m using a different theme, but it’s supposed to be
all-inclusive, just download and start pointing & clicking, which it
absolutely is not. I’m amazed, all the comments here find it an easy &
simple process. I must be an absolute dunce, I guess. My question: “How do
I make a slide?” so my revslider software can access it etc …

  29. Jeff Stanford

awesome you that is the simplest way i have seen i tried the premium theme
way and no way LOL with all the bells and whistles

  30. Katrina B

Would this work if I am currently using wootique theme in wordpress? I am
trying to change the size of the slider feature button, its to small….

  31. Sonia Kircher

HI brad I am using the zagga theme and am watching heeps of your videos.
Thanks for all the information. Still struggling with my slider. If I have
a slider can I change to another one ?? like the one you recommended thanks
    sonia

  32. Skopelos

Hey Brad..this plug in has changed. They now give you a “lite” version free
and is totally different menu interface and options from the one’s shown
here…maybe you can do an update video..?

  33. Maureen C. Berry

Hi Brad-I installed the easing slider “lite” which was a fairly easy
set-up, but the slider doesn’t appear. I am using Twenty Eleven and the php
code, although I’ve tried the short code as well. I don’t know what I’m
    doing wrong. Please help!
