You lost me when I went to WordPress. I have so many add-on domains so I
went to the domain I want to remove comments altogether for but could not
find anything for Themes like you show us. Had to stop there as I was at a
    loss. Darn!

Thank you very much. Just in case someone else is using the TwentyTen
theme, the way to do it (or at least worked for me) it´s by editing the
    loop.php file. Best.

I can’t open the wordpress files. I also can’t find the pathways to the
file. You found it by clicking something on your page. I’ve removed
everything from my side bar. You’re help would be really appreciated !

lajatt, I had the same problem. Checking and unchecking for comments is
easy. Where is that Discussion section? This discussion did not cover that.
I finally found it. You can customize your screen. Check and uncheck what
you want to see. Look up on the above right under Screen Options.

I have a major problem. I have everything set up exactly the way you showed
us. My website allows people to comment on every page but for some reason,
all the posts on my blog do not allow comments. The button is there but
they do not work. I disabled all of my plugins but that did not fix it so I
have no clue why it’s not working. Help!!!

I am a wordpress expert and I created some video tutorials for the use of
wordpress. It definitely is the most comprehensive wordpress course ever. I
posted a sample part of the course on my channel. watch it now.

I don’t even have the Discussion section where I can check/uncheck ‘Allow
Comments’ on my Posts page, do you know how I can get that?
